Shiraz is located in South Iran and is the capital of the province of Fars. In ancient Persia, Shiraz already had a significant role. The Achamanide King Cyros was born here, also two famous Persian poets, Hafez and Saadi were from Shiraz. Shiraz has a great carpet tradition, beautiful carpets were made here since the 9th century.
