The Armenian colony near Isfahan with their center in Julfa, which has a Christian church and little Armenian museum, produces steadily high quality rugs mostly made in their houses. Mainly Bakhtiari designs are used though in finer versions. Altogether a dense rug with high quality shiny woll materials.
